The route
The Pleasley and the Five Pits cycle trail starts at Teversal Trails Visitors Centre, in Teversal village. This route goes through both Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire and includes the Teversal and Five Pits trails. This trail has both off and on-road sections with some steep gradients, so take extra care when cycling on roads. Bikes with narrow tyres will be unsuitable for some sections, and the route can be extended by adding Brierley Forest Park or Silverhill Wood.
